LOWDER died in Wellington, Sumner County, Kansas on July 19, 1927. According to his Obituary, his Death Certificate and the funeral home records, he was taken to Hillsboro for burial beside his wife. I have been to Hillsboro twice, but it has been some years ago and could not find his or her graves. No source tells me which cemetery to look in. Since he was married 3-4 times we do not know which wife he was buried beside. I had heard some years ago that there was a cemetery survey being conducted in the area. I had been away from the LOWDER family for a few years and just got back into it. Finding those graves or information regarding them would certainly clear up several points. Since they had lived there before, there might have been a notice in the local newspaper. I did not look for that, but do have two obituaries from the Wellington newspaper. Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.
