This Indenture. Made this 28th day of Feb. 1887 between Elizabeth Milton, Henry Milton, Mannervia Milton, Mary A. Cooper, F. J. Cooper, C. J. Milton, William Milton, and Mary E. Milton of _________ County, in the State of_____________ of the first part, and Mary A. Luckey of Neosho County, in the State of Kansas of the second part: Witnesseth, That said parties of the first part, in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents, Remise, Release, and Quit claim unto said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, all the following described Real Estate situated in the County of Neosho and State of Kansas, to wit: Lots Nine (9) and Ten (10) in Block Seventeen (17) in Chanute formerly Tioga. To have and hold the same, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments, and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining forever: In Witness Whereof, The said parties of the first
part have hereunto set their hands the day and year first above written.

Luckey of Chanute Neosho County in the State of Kansas of the second part: Witnesseth, That said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum of Five Dollars, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does by these Remise, Release, and Quit Claim unto said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, all the following described Real Estate situated in the County of Neosho and State of Kansas, to wit: Lots (9) nine and (10) ten in Block (17) seventeen in Tioga now a part of Chanute Neosho County Kansas. To Have and to Hold the same. Together with all and singular the tenements, hereitaments and appurtenance thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining, forever. Warranty Deed
21st day of June, A.D. eighteen hundred and
ninety seven, before me, the undersigned, a Notary Public in and for the County
and State aforesaid cause Arkansas Valley Town and Land Company by W. E.
Putnam?, its President, who is personally known to me to be the same, and who
executed the foregoing deed, and he duly acknowledged the execution of the same
to be the act of the said The Arkansas Valley Town and Land Company.
This deed, made and entered into this 22 day of Sept., in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and ninety seven, between Hattie J. Milton, widow of George F. Milton, deceased. Elizabeth E. Blackburn, nee Milton an A. F. Blackburn, her husband, Charles F. Milton, Samuel N. Milton, William E. Milton and Maggie Milton, his wife, Martha V. Trickel, nee Milton, and John L. Trickel her husband, said Sarah E. Cole being formerly Sarah E. Milton, by birth, and all heirs at law of said George F. Milton, deceased. All of the County of Delta and the State of Colorado, save Elizabeth E. Blackburn and A. F. Blackburn, her husband, who are of the County of Neosho, State of Kansas, all parties of the first part , and F. A. Hodge, of the County of Neosho, and State of Kansas, part of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Twelve Hundred Dollars, to the said parties of the first part in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain sell and convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, all the following described lots and parcels of land, situate, lying and being in the County of Neosho and State of Kansas, to wit: Lots Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten (7, 8, 9, 10), of Section Five (5) in Township Twenty seven (27) south of Range Eighteen (18) East, containing one hundred and thirteen and thirty hundredths acres more or less, according to the government survey thereof, together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, ?????, issues and profits thereof and all the estate, right, title, interest, claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part, either in law or equity, of, in and to the above bargained premises, with the hereditaments and appurtenances; to have and to hold, the said premises above bargained and described, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever: And the said Hattie J. Milton, Elizabeth E. Blackburn, A. F. Blackburn, Charles F. Milton, Samuel N. Milton, William E. Milton, Maggie Milton, Martha V. Trickel, John L. Trickel, Sarah E. Cole and John C. Cole, parties of the first part, for themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators, do conversant?, grant, bargain and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that at the time of the unsealing and delivery of these presents they are well sized of the premises above conveyed, as of good, sure, perfect, absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance, in law, in fee simple, and have good right, full power and lawful authority to grant, bargain, sell and convey the same in waivers and focus as aforesaid, and that the same are free and clear from all forums? And other grants, bargains, sales, heirs, taxes, assess units and encumbrances of whatever kind or nature ??????, except a mortgage of Six Hundred Dollars to the ??ter State Mortgage Trust Company, with interest as therein provided. And the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part thereof , the said parties of the first part shall and will warrant and defend. In witness whereof, the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
I, Fred N. Dickerson, a Notary Public in and for said County and State do hereby certify that Charles F. Milton and Samuel N. Milton, personally known to me to be the persons whose names are subscribed to the annexed deed, appeared before me this day in person and acknowledged that they signed, sealed and delivered the said instrument of writing as their full and voluntary act for the uses and purposes therein set forth. I further certify that my commission expires March 2 - 1901. Given under my hand and notarial seal this 22 day of September, 1897.
I, Arthur King, a Justice of the Peace in and for the County of Delta and State of Colorado, do hereby certify, that Sarrah E. Cole, John C. Cole, William E. Milton, Maggie Milton, Hattie J. Milton, Martha V. Trickel & John Trickel, personally known to me to be the persons whose names are subscribed to the annexed deed, appeared before me this day in person and acknowledged that they signed, sealed and delivered the said instrument of writing as their full and voluntary act for the uses and purposes therein set forth. Given under my hand this 24 day of Sept., A.D. 1897.
I, George S. Conklin, County Clerk in and for said County, do hereby certify that Arthur King Esq., whose name is subscribed to the proof or acknowledgement of the annexed instrument in writing, was, at the time of taking the proof or acknowledgement, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, duly commissioned, sworn and acting as such, and authorized to take the same: and further, that I am acquainted with his handwriting, and verily believe that the signature to the said proof or acknowledgement is genuine; and further, that the annexed instrument is executed and acknowledged according to the laws of the State of Colorado. In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said County, at Delta Colorado in said County, this 25th day of Sept., A.D. 1897.
Be it remembered, that on this 2nd day of Dec., A.D. 1897, before me, a Notary Public in and for said County and State, came Elizabeth E. Blackburn and A. F. Blackburn (her husband) to me personally known to be the same persons who executed the foregoing instrument, and duly acknowledged the execution of the same. In Witness Whereof, I have license to subscribe my name and affix my official seal, on the day and year last above written.
