My great grandparents Joseph L. Jane Eliza Tolley and 11 children came over from England in 1882. After they arrived there was a typhoid fever epidemic and Jane and 6 children perished. The 5 that lived were: Samuel Joseph, Phillip John, Lilly, Mattie and Anna. A few years before Joseph's brother William & family came over from England and was a butcher in Delphos, Ottawa county, KS. Samuel worked in his uncles butcher shop for awhile then later became a railroader on the Atchinson Topeka and Santa Fe railroad for 33 years. Don't have any good info on what happened to Anna, Lilly and Mattie. Joseph L. Tolley died in 1926, would like to have more info on him, he died in 1926. If someone could give me more info on who would have taken care of funeral arrangements and where they might be buried. It would be greatly appreciated. Norilee Peterson
