Obituary of T. J. KNIGHT |
Accidentally Killed at Kansas City T. J. Knight, one of the best known residents of this city, was accidentally killed in the stock yards at Kansas City, Monday afternoon. The manner of his death is not fully known at this writing, but it appears he was in some way caught between one of the stock yard gates and a large, heavily loaded feed wagon, and so badly crushed that he soon afterwards died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. His body was shipped home Wednesday, arriving here in the forenoon at 11:40. The funeral occurred Thursday afternoon at 2:00, from the family residence, and the remains interred in the Larned cemetery beside those of his father. “Tom” Knight, as he was familiarly known to
