- Location: SW corner, SE1/4 Section 23-4-19, Belmont Township 1/2 mile west of what is now Speed, Kans. (Not listed by Gov. or map as post office. Store and blacksmith shop. Established 1870. See history of Emmyville being near same location, but earlier date.
