Ellenor Snowhill Julien was born 11 Apr 1848 in Vera Cruz, Brown,Ohio, the daughter of Andrew and Frances Isabelle (Smith) Snowhill.In 1866 when John Julien returned from the War, they were marriedin Ohio. In 1876 they moved to Kansas with their two youngest children and settled one mile south of Wamego in Wabaunsee Countyin 1900. Ellenor and John were early members of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Wamego. Ellenor passed away at the age of 86while visiting the home of her son, Louis E. Julien, the farm south ofWamego.
