TWILLEGAR
One of the most important events that the Patriot has had the privilege of recording in some time, was the arrival on Tuesday morning of twin daughters in the home of Irving TWILLEGAR. Dr. Newsome preformed the intoductory ceremony and reports their weight as fourteen pounds apiece. Those well acquainted with Doctor Newsome understand that the Doctor's belief is that nothing so commends itself to the more material minds as matter. And that so long as we share this earth life, we are more or less of earth, earthy, so we can best comprehend the grades of all excellence by the standard of avoirdupois. In this light, we think that the doctor has rather understated the case. Not even fourteen pounds apiece will do justice to the grace, beauty and vigorus constitution of the Twelligar twins. We congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Twelligar and hope for the tiny feet as smooth a pathway in life as the proud parents could ask for the little ones.
