The Midland Cemetery, also called the Dallas or the Shucks Cemetery, is located 8 1/2 miles south of McDonald. A few of the graves were cared for by Mrs. Emery Eicher until the 1950's. Mrs. Eicher's great grandparents and grandfather are buried there. The land was sold and the owners removed the fence and iron gate in September of 1966 and farmed over the cemetery. In recent years, a fence has been put back up and a large sign with some of the names of people buried there.
