The infant daughter of G.W. and Tilda Hudgens, who died June 18, 1887, was buried in this cemetery. Odie Hudgens stated that there was a small boy buried there who had been orphaned and then taken by the Hudgens family to raise. Another child, Clara M. Brown, daughter of T.W. and M.G. Brown, who was born December 11, 1894, and died February 2, 1899, was buried there. In 1908 the graves showed plainly, marked by stones and iris plants, that a number of graves were in the cemetery. No one was buried there after 1908, but there were graves moved. Graves were covered over during the dust bowl years.
