Clyde H. Ewing

Clyde H. Ewing, 86, of Hutchinson died June 12, 2002 at Hutchinson Hospital

He was born Oct. 19, 1915 at Arlington, the son of Henry and Amy Clark Ewing.  He was a 1934 graduate of Arlington High School and attended Salt City Business College.  A lifetime Reno county resident, he was a retired farmer and supervisor for Reno County DHIA for 30 years

He belonged to Arlington Presbyterian Church.

On Aug. 26, 1956 he married Vivian Lorene King.  She died April 25, 1981.  On May 8, 1982 he married Mildred Lucille Hirth.  She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Steve, Hutchinson; two stepchildren Beverly Johnson, Plevna, and Wilma Ruebke Hutchinson; nine step grandchildren and 10 step great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother Clinton.

Funeral will be at 2 P.M. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson with the Rev. Donald Ray presiding.  Friends may call from 5 to 9 P.M. Saturday and Sunday, all at the mortuary.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday at the mortuary.  Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the church in care of the mortuary.
