Mrs. Walter R. Haskard
Mrs. Jessie H. Haskard, 84, 15 East 27th, died at
2:35 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Hospital after an illness of six months. Born
Oct. 3, 1885 at Turkville in Ellis County, she had been a resident of
Hutchinson since 1904. She was married to Walter R. Haskard, March 26, 1903
at Enid, Okla. He died Oct 7 1941.
She was a member of the United Trinity Methodist
church and the daughters of the American Revolution. she was a past matron
of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors are daughters, Mrs. L. E. Harris Jr.,
of Worland, Wyo.; and Mrs. d. E. MacArthur, Waco, Tex.; sons, W. N. Haskard,
3 Hillcrest, H. R. Haskard, 38 Random Road, F. L. Haskard, of Wichita, H. E.
Haskard, 310 West 27th; sister, Mrs. R. V. Woolwine, Ft. Worth, Tex.; 14
grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Johnson and
Sons Chapel, Rev. Paul Matthaei. burial will be in Partridge
Cemetery. Call 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
