Mrs. Jim McDermott
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth McDermott, 85, formerly of
1401 North VanBuren, died Thursday at Hutchinson Hospital, following a long
illness. Born Mary Elizabeth McNeive Jan. 28, 1895, in Delia, she married
James Murry who died in 1918. She then married Jim McDermott who died in
1952. She had lived here since 1939.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Survivors: son: Jim Murry, Wichita; two
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church;
the Rev. Sean OShea. Rosary will be 8 p.m. Monday at Johnson and sons
Funeral Home. burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call 11 a.m.
to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
