James M. Nelson

 James M. Nelson, 83, 3408 North Walnut, died Sunday at Hutchinson Hospital.  Born Feb. 11, 1894 at Ardmore, Okla. he was married to Cordelia Avery Aug. 27, 1923 at Anadarko, Okla.  She died Dec. 6, 1972.  He was a foreman for Central Fiber Products, Hutchinson and lived here since 1929.

 He was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Hutchinson.

 Survivors include son: Claude, 108 North Town; daughters: Mrs. Edna Cottle, 3408 North Walnut; Mrs. Audrey Goyen, Wichita; brothers: Woody, Virgil, both of Anadarko, Okla.; Spencer, Covis, Calif.; sisters: Mrs. Charles Adredge, Mrs. Curtis Goddard, both of Anadarko, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

 Funeral will be 2 pm. Tuesday at Johnson and Sons, Hutchinson; Rev. Ray Thomas.  Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson.  Friends may call from noon until 9 p.m. Monday and until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
