Mrs. Joe L. Socha

Katie C. Socha, 91 of 409 East Park, died Sept. 8, 1983, at Hutchinson Hospital. born Katie C. Amos July 23, 1892, at Kansas City, Kan., she married William L. Peters in 1909, at Nelson, Mo. He preceded her in death. She married Joe L. Socha in July 1938 at Wichita. He died in 1953. She had been a Hutchinson resident since 1925.

Survivors: daughters, Mary Parker, 1220 East 9th, Mae Studer, El Dorado, Dorothy Tener, Springdale, Ark., Jean Messer, Seminole, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eastside Cemetery; the Rev. L. W. Hobson. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Elliott Funeral Chapel.
