Larry A. Washburn, 26, 1100 East B, died Tuesday from self inflicted gunshot wounds.  Born July 19, 1950 at Wichita, he married Janet A. Spence June 5, 1972 at Hutchinson.  He was employed by Far-Mar-Co and was a Hutchinson resident since 1970.

 

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

 

Survivors include widow; son: Troy, of the Home; daughter: Jennifer, of the home; step-son: Richard Kuhns, of the home; father: Jerry Washburn; mother: Mrs. Clara Sturgeon, 944 East Sherman; brother: Bobby Washburn, Nickerson; sisters: Mrs. Barbara Martinez, Casper, Wyo.; Brenda Sturgeon, Wilma Sturgeon, Ada Marie Sturgeon, Loretta Lynn Sturgeon, Mrs. Madeline Parkhurst, all of 944 East Sherman.

 

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Elliott Funeral Home; Rev. Leslie Truitt.  Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.  Friends may call 10 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home.
