End Comes To Pioneer Woman

Mrs. Sarah Morgan Yoder Had Been Hutchinson Resident Nearly Half Century

Mrs. Sarah Morgan Yoder, 74, died this morning at her home, 106 Ave. F west. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Mrs. Yoder was born in Greenwich, England on July 25, 1858 and was married to Harry Morgan in 1876 at Belfast, Ireland. They came to America in 1883, settling in Barber county and moved to Hutchinson a year later. This has continued to be her home ever since.

To this union were born five children: Mrs. Mary Henson, Charles Morgan, Sam Morgan and Mrs. Elliza Swanson; all of this city; and Joseph Morgan of Los Angeles, Calif., all of whom survive, together with none grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Morgan died in 1896 and she was married a second time in 1906 to Jerry Yoder, who survives.

Services For Mrs. Yoder

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Yoder who died Thursday night at her home 105 Ave. F west, will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Teresa's church. Interment will be in Eastside cemetery.
