Sara and James Gould

These photos are of my Great grandparents James Theodore Gould and Sarah Adeline Laire. They were married in Rising Sun, Indiana in 1855 and lived in Quincy, IL until 1870 when they moved to KS for awhile and then moved back to Quincy, IL. About the turn of the century they moved back to KS and lived in Haven, Reno County, KS. Five of their 10 children went to KS
(William, Charles, Franklin, David, and Willard) one (Robert) remained in Quincy, IL and 3 of them went to MI (George, Nettie and Jay) Willard also ended up in MI.  One daughter (Mary) died in childhood.  Most of this Gould family is buried in Laurel Cemetery, Yoder, KS. This includes James & Sarah, Charlie, William H and his wife Eliza McCrea, Franklin Thomas and his wife Mary Heibert, and their children Ellis Gould, Leonard Gould, and William's children Goldie Geneva Gould VanBuren, Jimmie Gould,. Not sure if you want photos of people or just places in KS. This Gould family lived in Haven from at least 1900-1920 and some of the children who came in 1870 lived there from that time until their death or moving to Wichita.
