Court is now in session and will be for some weeks. We have had court continually from Nov. 24th. The docket is so large that there is no possibility of getting more than half through it this term. I have several important cases that I want to try this term. I am doing a very large business now and hope to get considerable money out of it in the end. The litigation has increased ten fold since I came here. The docket has now about 450 cases for the present term. I want to go home this winter but I am uncertain about it. The Court will adjourn Febry. 7 and then there will be perhaps [...] for my getting away. [....] Brother Charlie.
