MRS. EMMA A. BRIER (Emma Alexander) Mrs. Emma Alexander Brier, 85, active worker in women's clubs of Topeka and a resident here for the past sixty-five years, died Sunday in a Topeka hospital. Mrs. Brier made her home at 427 Topeka Boulevard. She was born in Louisville, Ky., January 12, 1856, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Topeka. Surviving are three sons, Dr. A. J. Brier, Topeka; J. M. Brier Jr., Topeka and Guy Brier, Wichita; one brother, A. V. Alexander, Higdon, Ark. and four grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the Wall-Diffender Mortuary, with interment in Topeka Cemetery.
