Florence Fern "Flossie" Dreiling, age 71, died Sunday, February 1, 2009, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. She was born March 24, 1937, in Hoxie, Sheridan County, Kansas, to John F. and Viola M. (Lowe) Naiman. She married Hilary Dominic Dreiling on June 21, 1962, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, Kansas.

She was a registered nurse and during her 30 plus years in nursing, she worked in hospitals at Hays, Salina, Hoisington and Garden City, She held positions as a floor nurse, operating room supervisor and house supervisor. Prior to her retirement in 1999, she was the Assistant Director of Nursing Services at the Hays Good Samaritan Center. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, Kansas, and was affiliated with a number of professional nursing organizations.

Survivors include her husband, Hilary Dominic Dreiling, of the home; and a number of nieces and nephews,

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harold. J. Naiman; three sisters, Naomi Morgan, Darlene Goddard and Bonnie Fischli.

Services are at 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 6, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, Kansas, with Father Gilmary Tallman O.F.M Cap. A private burial will be held at a later date at St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria, Kansas.
