BEL AIRE ÷ Juliana B. Knopp, 82, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, in Wichita. She was born Sept. 19, 1921, in Leoville to Frank and Mary Ann (Heim) Meitl. She was an elementary school teacher, retiring in 1986.

Survivors include her husband, Vincent, Wichita; five sons, Frank and Tony, both of Colorado Springs, Steve, Russell, Tim, Kansas City, Kan., and Carl, Olathe; four daughters, Barbara Mueller, Huntington, Beach, Calif., Mary Hessenflow, Beloit, Anita Doll, Binghamton, N.Y., and Agnes Ward, Wichita; three sisters, Rosalia Stephens, Jennings, Helen Kruse, Hudson, Colo., and Rita Martin, Colby; 23 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, David; brothers Father Paul, Philip, Bernard, Joseph; sisters Sister Floreda, Wilhelmina, Ann

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Selden; burial in the Selden Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Monday, all at Pauls Funeral Home, Selden. A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
