Johanna Maurath, 83, Dodge City, formerly of Larned, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at Sterling House, Dodge City. She was born Aug. 3, 1925, in Sheridan County to Clem and Clara Zerr Haffner.

She married Stephen G. Maurath on Nov. 26, 1946, in Park. He preceded her in death July 25, 2003. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Ron Maurath, a daughter, Lou Meyers, two brothers, George Haffner and Nick Haffner, two sisters, Rose Sauer, and Anna Mary Rohleder, two grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City; burial in Greencrest Memorial Gardens, Dodge City.
