Wilbur C. Mountford, 90, Colby, died Saturday, June 30, 2007, at his home.
He was born Dec. 31, 1916, in Red Cloud, Neb., to William and Jane (Carpenter) Mountford. He married Betty Mountford on Nov. 3, 1946. He was a retired grain dealer.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son Max Mountford, two daughters, Carolyn Rosebaugh, and Lois Powers; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Burial was in the Selden Cemetery, with military honors.
