Joseph P. "Joe" Rehmer, 72, Angelus, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at Logan County Hospital, Oakley. He was born March 11, 1935, in Kansas City, Mo., to John Gerhardt and Mary Catherine (Fellhoelter) Rehmer. He married Lee Ann McIlnay on Feb. 1, 1958, in Colby. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, John Rehmer, Joseph Rehmer Jr., and James Rehmer, five daughters, Yolette Miller, Yolanda Suter and Michaela Baalman, and Jolene Glavin and Jennifer Blackwell, a sister, Rose Mary Bange, 24 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Angelus; burial in St. Paul Cemetery, Angelus.
