Gladys Marie Rogers, 90, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at Sheridan County Long Tenn Care Unit. She was born Feb. 1, 1913, near Dillon, daughter of George A. and Bertha (Forster) Whitehair. She married W.E. "Rod" Rogers on Jan. 4, 1936, in Elmo. He died Apri1 18, 1958. She lived in Colby until moving to Hoxie in 1946. She was former owner and editor of The Hoxie Sentinel and a high school secretary and school board clerk.
Survivors include a son, James, a sister, Bernie Hintz, two grandchildren; and a great- granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Rogers.
Burial in the Hoxie Cemetery.
