Beulah Marie Simonton, 86, Canon City, Colo., died Sunday, Sept. 18,2005. She was born Aug. 22, 1919, near Selden, daughter of Walter Roy and Lola Fern Vaughn. She graduated from Sheridan County High School in 1938. She married Virgil R. Simonton on June 25, 1939, in Brighton, Colo. She worked for the Credit Bureau of Greater Denver and Equifax before her retirement 1984. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Bob Simonton, two daughters, Norma Anderson, and Barbara Farnholtz; three sisters, Twila Pearson, Bernice Channell, and Esther Weeks, seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Burial in the Hoxie Cemetery
