 Elaine Wagoner, 76, Quinter, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter. She was born Dec. 18, 1930, in rural Studley to George F. and Nella B. (Carley) Simon. She attended Pleasant Glen Elementary School near Studley and was a 1948 graduate of Sheridan County High School. She married Martin A. Wagoner Jr. on Aug. 16, 1948. He preceded her in death on April of 1990. She was a medical assistant.


Survivors include two sons, Darrell Wagoner, and Dwight Wagoner, a daughter, Connie Crawley, a brother, Edwin Simon, two sisters, Wilma Mader, and Winifred McCullough, seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at
10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Studley; burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Studley, Sheridan County.
