ALL SAINTS CEMETERY (ALS)
This Cemetery is located on Plum Tree Road between 130th and 140th Streets.
From Hiawatha go 8 miles South on Highway 73 to 150th Street, turn East and go 4 miles, you’ll go through the little village of Willis. At Plum Tree Road turn South and go 1 ½ miles to Cemetery which sits on East side of Road.
This was a church cemetery at the town of Marak (which no long exists). Some of the stones are in the Moravian and Bohemian language.
BLACK CEMETERY (BLK)
This cemetery is located in the far Southeast corner of Brown County.
From Hiawatha go South on Highway 73 to Horton. Turn left in Horton on Highway 73 and go about 8 miles East to Timber Road. Turn left and go ¼ mile and the Cemetery used to be on the northeast corner. This cemetery no longer exists. The graves were moved to another cemetery.
KIMBERLIN CEMETERY (KBL)
This Cemetery is located at the corner of 140th Street and Sagebrush Road.
From Hiawatha go 8 miles south on Highway 73 to 150th Street, turn East and go 5 miles to Prairie Road, turn South for 1 mile to 140th Street, turn East and go 2 miles to Cemetery which sits on the southwest corner.
MILLER CEMETERY (MLR)
This Cemetery is located on Timber Road ½ mile North of 120th Street.
From Hiawatha go 12 miles South on Highway 73 to the junction of 15th Street and Central Street in the town of Horton. Turn East on Highway 73/20 and go 5 ½ miles, turn North and follow Highway 20 into Everest, turn East and follow Highway 20 for 3 ½ miles to Timber Road, turn North and go ¼ mile to Cemetery.
PAGE CEMETERY (PGE)
This Cemetery is located off of Sagebrush Road between 130th and 140th Street.
From Hiawatha go South on Highway 73 for 8 miles to 150th Street, go East for 5 miles to Prairie Road, turn South for 1 mile to 140th Street, turn East and go 2 miles to Sagebrush road, turn South for ½ mile and the cemetery is in the middle of the section behind the house.
WOLF RIVER CEMETERY (WRV)
This Cemetery is located on Willow Road between 160th and 170th Streets.
From Hiawatha go South for 6 miles to 170th Street, turn East and go 7 ½ miles to Sunflower Road, turn South and go 1 mile to 160th Street, turn East and go 2 miles to Willow Road, turn North and go ½ mile. The cemetery is on West side of road.
The German Church used to sit at this site. The Wolf River is nearby.
ZION LUTHERAN CEMETERY (ZLN)
This Cemetery is located on Prairie Road just North of 150th Street.
From Hiawatha go South 8 miles to 150th Road, turn East and go 5 miles to Prairie Road, turn North and the Cemetery is about ¼ mile on East side of road.
The Zion Lutheran Church sits across the road from the Cemetery. This Church was dedicated November 4, 1895. A Time Capsule was placed on November 5, 1995, the 100th Anniversary of the Church, to be opened in the Year 2020.
