Marie Armbruster, 89, of WaKeeney, died on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at the Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney.

She was born Feb. 27, 1922, in rural Trego County to Fred and Elizabeth (Fabrizius) Maier.
She married Fredrick F. Armbruster on Feb. 2, 1960. He preceded her in death April 16, 2007.
Survivors include a brother, LeRoy Maier; Jeremy and the Trego Manor staff; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, WaKeeney; WaKeeney City Cemetery.
