Born in Grainfield, Kansas. Son of Elba L. & Jennie (Newcomer) Brandenburg. Married Francis O. Ervin on July 21, 1946, in WaKeeney. Survivors include his wife, of the home, a son, Al Brandenburg, a daughter, Cindy Goya, a sister, Orra Mae Lindberg, & 2 grandchildren.
Burial in Wakeeney Cemetery.
