Pete A. Burbach
--Western Kansas World, WaKeeney, Trego County, Kansas, January 7, 1956

Pete A. Burbach, son of John and Elizabeth Burbach, was born in Sutton, Nebr., March 31, 1893, and Passed away Dec 29, 1955, at the Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, after a short illness.

Pete moved with his parents to Tampa, Kansas, in 1898, then in 1905 the family moved to Collyer, Kansas.

He was united in marriage to Minnie Alzora Tilton, November 20, 1918. They moved to their farm south of Collyer, Kansas, where they have lived for 37 years. To this union a daughter and a son were born. His father, mother two sisters Christina Glantz and Mary Bardel preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife Minnie; a daughter, Nadine Claycamp of WaKeeney, and a son Warren Burbach of Collyer. He also leaves six grandchildren; three brothers, John of Gooding, Idaho; George of Collyer and Ben of Hoyt, Kansas, Also three sisters Mollie Huenergardt; and Lissie Glantz of Bison, Kansas; and Emma Brown of WaKeeney. Many other relatives and a large circle of friends and neighbors.

Pete was always a kind and loving husband and father, a very helpful neighbor and friend. His memory will long live on in the hears of his family and friends.
