OBITUARY of JOAN AND TREVA DONHAM
Joan Donham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Donham, was born at Carl Junction, Missouri, April 1902 and departed this life May 22, .1951, at the age of 19 years, 1month, 20 days.-Joan graduated with the 1950 class of the Trego County High School in WaKeeney, Kansas. She was song leader for the Church of God Sunday School at the time of her death was employed at the City Clerk's office in WaKeeney.
Treva Donham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Donham, was born ,at Carl Junction. Missouri, June 26, 19354, and departed this life May 22, 1951 at the age of 16 years, 10 ,months, 29 days. Treva head completed her junior year In the high .school. She was Sec.Treas. of the Youth Fellowship of the Northwest District of Kansas and secretary of the Church of God Sunday School.
Joan and Treva were faithful in attendance of all church services. 'They moved with their parents to WaKeeney in 1945 Two brothers, Carrol Eugene and a baby of a few hours, preceded them in death. They leave to mourn their passing their parents, Mr. sand Mrs. Oscar Donham; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Myers and Ruby Bowers of Carl Junction, Mo.; and Mrs. Letha Landis, of WaKeeney, Ks., one brother, Oscar Lee Donham, Jr. of WaKeeney; grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Reed of Alturas, Calif.; (grandfather, Mr. R. T. Donham, Carl Junction, Mo., and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian Church by Rev. John Lehnert, on Saturday, May 12th 2:00 P.M. Burial was in the cemetery at Carl Junction, Mo.
