VETERAN WWII
Born in rural Trego County to Lewis H. and Euphemia (Nelson) Galloway. He was a 1936 graduate of Trego Community High School and attended Fort Hays State University. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He married Beth Clark on Feb. 4, 1944, in Santa Monica, Calif. He was a farmer, stockman and owner/operator of WaKeeney Livestock Commission.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Mike Galloway, and Jack Galloway, two daughters, Jane Anderson, and Julie Newcomer, a sister, Marguerite Sanders, 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Burial in Wakeeney Cemetery
