Adah B. Howat, 88, WaKeeney, died Feb. 21, 2005, at St. John's Nursing Home of Hays. She was born Jan. 30, 1917, near WaKeeney, daughter of C.E. and Mary (Zeman) Howat. She graduated from Trego Community High School in 1935 and from Brown Mackie Business College, Salina. She was a secretary for 30 years at Meade High School retiring in 1985.
Survivors include a sister, Twila Ninemire.
