Marjorie Leona Marcy, 83, Evans, Colo., formerly of WaKeeney, died Saturday, March, 3, 2007, at Beehive Homes, Evans, Colo. She was born Jan. 23, 1924, in Trego County, daughter of Herman Julius and Frieda Babette (Finkbeiner) Folkers. She gradauted from Trego Community High School and attended Dodge City Community College and Fort Hays State University. She married John Elihu Marcy on April 14, 1946, in Ogallah. He preceded her in death April 27, 1984. She was a clerk at the Trego County clerkÕs office, WaKeeney.
Survivors include two sons, John Marcy, and James Marcy, a daughter, Jeannette Ramsey, two brothers, Eldon Folkers, and Emery Folkers, four sisters, Valetta Kesler, Corleen Morris, Ruby Pranger, and Dorothy Fuller, and four grandchildren.
Burial in Wakeeney Cemetery
