Donald L. Schmitt, 84, WaKeeney, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Lutheran Home, WaKeeney
He was born June 6, 1924, in Quinter to Fred C. and Josie (Spena) Schmitt.
He married Janice (Roesch) Schmitt on Jan. 17, 1954, in Arkansas City. She preceded him in death March 28, 1980. He was a farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Randall Schmitt and Bradley Schmitt; a daughter, Ramona Schmitt; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney; burial in WaKeeney City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
