OBITUARY of Albert C. Wolff
Albert C. Wolff was born March 7, 1906, in WaKeeney, Kansas, to Otto G. and Sophie (Kramer) Wolff. He passed away May 11, 2003, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Albert was 97 years old.
Albert attended rural Trego County school. On June 25, 1937, Albert was .united in marriage with Marjorie E. Schroeder in Itasca, Illinois. She passed away April 2, 1992.
Albert was a farmer and a lifetime area resident. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of WaKeeney, and a past member of the Farmer's Union. Albert enjoyed polka music. A highlight of his life was celebrating his 90th birthday with 'a dance for family and friends.
Survivors include three daughters, Alice M. Bell and her husband, Lloyd, Metamora, IL, Mardell Carlson and her husband, Clifford, of Salina, and Cora McBride and her husband, John, of Haysville; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A son, George Otto Wolff, a brother, Gustav C. Wolff, preceded him in death. Funeral services for Albert Wolff were Saturday, May 17, 2003, at the United Methodist Church in WaKeeney, Kansas, with Reverend Tod Anthony officiating. Interment was in the WaKeeney City Cemetery, WaKeeney, KS. Schmitt Funeral Home of WaKeeney handled the arrangements.
