Looking for info: Alexander Thompson and wife Jane McDermid? both born Scotland. All children born in Canada West (Ontario) Upper Canada. Immigrated to Potosi, Linn Co., KS abt. 1868. Possibly, Jane died while in Potosi, aft. 1870 census. 1880 census, Alexander and two children, Christina 21 and Duncan 19, in Pleasant Valley, Saline Co., KS. Older son Daniel married and stayed in Potosi, and Pleasanton, Linn Co., through 1930 census.
