I am seeking information about William George Gorman. He was born in 1869 or 1870 in southeast Kansas. I believe that he was born at Sugar Creek in Miami Co. I believe that at one time he may have lived in Elk Co. He was married to my grandmother in 1904 but they divorced. Records of my grandmother's show that she received alimony checks from Elk Co. District Court in 1904, 1905 and 1906 and perhaps later. I am interested in knowing where he was born, if he later married, where he is buried. I also would like to find marriage and divorce records for this marriage. For DAR I must prove that Annie Gorman (born 1875) is a decedent of Peter and Susannah Peterson of rural Vassar Kansas.
