I am looking for any information on Joseph Watson who farmed in Rice County during the 1880s and/or early 1890s. He may have signed his name as E.J. Watson. He and his wife, Melissa, came there from Indiana with their young son Fred, my grandfather. They had another son, Irl, who was probably born in Rice County around 1892, give or take a year. Since he farmed, I wondered if there may have been plat books from that time. Also, I would like to see if there may be a birth certificate for Irl.
