To Shivers & Trickle's:
I have info as to your families, or you can go to the "SHIVERS FAMILY LEGENDS WEBSITE" page 46 of 55 at http://www.xtremechat.org/shivers-walk.html this a very informative web site. Your William Shivers was a son to my great-great grandfather, by second marriage of Richard H. Shivers and Elizabeth Allen. Richard is also buried in Clay Center, KS as is his daughter Mary Jane Miller (Shivers) of his first marriage to Elizabeth Bonham. William was married to Nancy A. "Tucker" Trickle.
Additionally on this site you will find the family history and tree back to A.D. 960 with the first known member of the family who was Roger Chievre b. 1000, born in Normandy, France, who for the excitement of it; was with William the Conqueror in the invasion of England in 1066.
