My GGGrandfather Charles Henry Watkins brought his family from California to Twin Mounds, now Fredonia, in 1869. He and his sons John Milton, James William, George Washington, Charles Henry Jr, Louis Franklin, Francis Marion and one daughter Mary Emma all married and settled in and around the Duck Creek and New Albany area of Wilson County. They married into the Cox, Powers, Hoover, Lanham, Poynter and Pugh Families in the 1870 and 1880's and spread all over the Country from there. I have considerable information on many of these Watkins and am looking for help with the many families they married into.
