I found in a book History of Republic County Kansas page 40.It says Samuel Elder was one of the first settlers in Richland township April 1866.Page 196 The Belleville M. E. Church (it has a chapter) list of people first getting married there Ezra Mackey and wife J.P Ball it just says in the years 1870 and 71.You didn't put first names so it's hard to find anything.
