Please let me know if any of you have information on the family name of Fountain or Fountaine or LaFountain or LaFontaine, or Fontaine either Eugene or Moses/Moises. They arrived in 1869-1870 from Kankakee, Ill. Catholic family. I have some church records but cannot make family connection between possible father or siblings of Eugene Fountain (my ggrandfather) and his possible father Moses and his possible siblings Emilie Fontaine (Delude?), Joseph Fontaine, Mary Fontaine (Ravon?). Greatly appreciate your help.
