I am searching for information on a McGilvrey family born in Ohio, & Indiana, moved to Smith Co. Ks. Oct. 1878. The mother of the family was Charlotte McGilvrey and I don't know her husband's name, as he died, and she had 3 sons, known: John. b. 1830; William, b. about 1833; & Alexander b. June 1837 or 1839. I am especially interested in Alexander & family. Alexander married 1865, Rockville, Parke Co. Ind. to Mary Jane Blake. Their children: Sarah C.; John William; Isaac Albert; Catherine; Howard W.; Arthur M.; Ora Francis; Samuel Walter; Ralph Alexander; & Henry Harrison. I am especially interested in Isaac Albert, who at various times used "Isaac" and "Albert".
