I came across the McBride name in a Edwards County Cemetery search: Edgar R. McBride b. 8 Dec.1895/ d. Oct..1980 Married to Elsie E. b. 1896 / d. 1943 I would like any information about this family.

Our McBrides were born in the late 1800's but do not know when they died.
They had children that were born 1914?, 15 and maybe 1917?.
We have been searching for over 30 years with not a clue except that the fathers first name was given as an initial (E). Our mothers name was Katie Ester McBride. She was adopted in 1918 (3 years) by the William Funnell family of Clay County, Kansas. Unfortunately, the courthouse burned with all of the records.
Any information would be appreciated.
