I am searching for information regarding my great grandfather, Antonio Fuentes, who died 9 Mar 1917 in Topeka. I am trying to obtain a copy of the death certificate, and neither the state nor the county has any record of his death. The funeral director was James Talty and Antonio was buried at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Does anyone know if there was a Talty Funeral Home in Topeka in 1917? (Perhaps it was named something else, I'm just going by the director's name.) Did another mortuary take over that business? Any suggestions on obtaining old funeral home records?
