I am trying to obtain a death certificate for my great grandfather, Antonio Fuentes, who died in 1917. I have his obit., his cemetery/burial info., the name of the funeral home. Problem is that neither the county nor the state can locate a death certificate. His funeral was held at a funeral home directed by James Talty. It has closed. I am wondering if anyone knows who took over or where the records would have been sent. I am hoping that the funeral home had to have a copy of his death certificate before his service was held.
