my grandfather, Hugh D. Hudson, was born in Doniphan County in 1857 or 1858. Best guess according my research he was born to Sylvester Hudson and Nancy J (?). I've been trying without much success to get some solid evidence to my gg-grandfather's home state and his parents' names as well as that information on gg-grandmother's family and gg-grandmother's maiden name.
One clue from my grandfather's obit is that he had a younger sister, Addie, who married a McEntire and was in Topeka in 1940. any help would be appreciated.
