Family records state that Christian Ade moved to KS in 1883 and settled in Cherryvale, KS. He was born 1832 in Wurtumburg, Germany. I contacted the Gen. Soc. there and they have not been able to find anything. I have recently, however, found the 1885 Kansas Census, showing that Christian Ade lived in Osage, Labette, KS. His wife's name was Mary and he had a son Edward, who married a Clara; a daughter Lillian, who married Fremont Beatty; and a baby named George. I would love to find his obituary and death certificate if possible. Thank you.
